Interesting. There seem to be two Thomas Quincy Abdons, and both are thought to have married Lydia Moody.

I too am looking for info on him... have found that his father was John Abdon, but after that there is nothing more about the family

Thomas Abdon's mother was Hannah Eiklor who married Benjamin Abdon. I am interested in the Eiklor line. Would like to know more about Thomas Abdon's brothers and sisters, who they married, where they lived, died, are buried.

Anyone have any of this information?

Armor Abdon

I've been working on figuring out Armor and his life for awhile now. And although I have more on him now than when I started, there are still holes that I would like to see filled.

1860 & 1870 he was a farmhand for the Pate family in Dearborn County.

Was a Civil War Vet (hope to one day get my hands on his pension file)

Feb 11, 1875, he married Harriet (Hattie) Durham/Durman

1880 - He & his family were in Lawrenceburgh, Dearborn Co.

Mar 17, 1883 - Death, buried in Lawrenceburgh.

Wife Hattie remarried to Mr. Albert Pierce.

What I can't find is Armor anywhere before 1860. Does anyone know what Abdon family he came from? I can't find him on an 1850 census, and I have no idea what family he would be included with in 1840.

Any thoughts or ideas??
