On 1920 census he is living in St. Louis, wife Clara b. 1884. Children Evelyn, Albert, Wilbert, Viola.

Suspect his father is Francis George Abel b. LO 1844, parents from Germany and Caroline Weyrich, b Germany 1857.
Sister of Louis was Ann Marie (Alvina) who married a Joseph Dietein
