Otto Karl Abele Sr, Paul's brother, is my great grandfather on my mother's side. They definitely had a florist shop. One of my mom's cousins compiled a genealogy dating back to 1830. Paul and Otto Sr.'s father was Franz Xavier Abele (born 1830). He was a castle caretaker in Gundelsheim, Baden-Wurttemberg.
