Ancestry.com reports the death of Mary A. Abernethy, age 74, dob 1842, dod 6 Jan 1916 in Iredell County, NC State Archives, NC Deaths, 1908-67. I am looking for any and all information about this woman to see if this ties in to other research I am doing. Her name may appear in some records as Abernathy. Can anyone help with this?
