yes, I was wrong about the line, Horace Abers is the father of William Samuel Abers, Horace was married to a Zella Bear from my files here. I spoke without searching my files :P
William Samuel Abers was born 23 July 1875 in Wisconsin. He married Nora Bell DeBord on 7 July 1897 in West Union, Todd Co., MN. He died 22 Apr 1957 in Alexandria, Douglas Co.,Mn. William had 3 sons: Earl,Horace and Walter.
So, that makes our lines the same :)

I believe the Abers name is a bit more common that I first thought, going to be fun trying to sort it all out. There is a family that originally had the name Abromowich (sp?) and they shortened it to Abers as well.
Closer to my age is difficult as my father's family was quite large with divorces included...will get it all put on the computer, that should help me sort it all out.
