Also looking for Abers history. Looking for the Garret Abers (b. 1814 in Scotland,) family living first in Humphrey Cattaraugus Co. NY then Foster, McKean Co, PA. Garrets wife in the 1880 census is Louise, b. 1824 in NY. Several children including: Etta, Mary, Daniel and Gilbert living with Garrets son-in-law, name unknown. Possible daughter Laura married a man Charles Harrison and stayed in Humphrey, Cattaraugus Co, NY. Had three children that I know of: Victor Hugo Harrison, Mrs. A.C. (Pearl) Jacobson and Joseph Harrison of Salamanca. Thanks for any help.

My Abers family ends in Minnesota. But working back it goes to Wisconsin, Canada and then New York. I am at a loss when I get back to Charles Abers b 1799 in New York, married to Elizabeth b 1810 Canada. Anyone have more info on these 2 people? Or this family?
