"R. A. Abels Was Born Nov.The 29th 1838. A Member of Company I (i) 13 Ga. Regt" Stark Volunteers from near Atlanta, the county of Spalding
This precious page is on fine light blue writing paper (his mothers?) and has dark blue and red ornate bordering all rendered in pencil. Between each word is a small clover. It's size is approximately four and a half inches high by eight wide.
Leonard Weinbaum found the document in a small junk shop in Micanopy, Florida some years ago. No connection to his family, but he'd like to get this beautiful handwritten page to some family member. firstname.lastname@example.org
Can anyone help us locate a descendant?
