I would doubt there is a connection. Nathaniel arrived about 40 years after my Isaac died.
I took a look at the Ellis Island records and found a Nathan Abrahams arriving in 1906. He was a Russian. Also, I found Nathaniel Abraham arriving the same year and he was from Persia.
Are either of these your Nathaniel?
