Ruth T. Abram, 87, of McCandless, formerly of Brookline and the North Side, died Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late John H. Abram. Ruth is survived by her loving children, Edward D. Abram, of Bethel Park, John P. Abram, of Clifton, Colo., Barbara L. (John) Saba, of Whitehall, and Susan R. (Roscoe) Springston, of Ross Township; sister of Rose Pantages, of Bethel Park; grandchildren, Jonathan, Daniel, Jason, Eric, Collin, John, Jessica, Michael, Brian and Patrick; and great-grandchildren, Keelan, Mira, Danika, Erika and Taylor. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME INC., 7720 Perry Highway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Athanasius. Contributions may be made to St. Athanasius, 7 Chalfonte Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
