Hi joanshnnn
The name has had quite a chequered history, the most popular explanation is that the Gaelic/Celtic name was Mac An Bhreitheamham meaning Son of the Judge, it has been anglicised over the years, my Grandfather was Thomas Abraham but when his brothers were born in England the name became Habron, I have relatives in the US whose name became Hebron.
Abraham, Abrams, and Judge are all possible relations. The oldest ancestor so far Is George Abraham whose son Thomas was born in 1818 and married Nora Sheridan. I have no siblings for Thomas but it may be from that generation that your family descended, we may be related somewhere who knows. Good luck anyway.
Howard
