I have been researching the Abril family myself. and this my connection my Father Antonio J Arollo aka Sickie,or Tony My grandmother Virgina Abril (Arollo married name) aka Kina, My great grandfather Enrique Nunez ABRIL aka Enricos or Henry. Great great grand father Abraham R Abril aka Abran or Abram. Great great great Grandfather Manuel Abril Married to Gabriela Ruiz. I found death certificates for Abraham that listed his parents names and that they where from Sonora, Mexico. this is the link to that site. http://genealogy.az.gov/ another site I use is https://www.familysearch.org/
I use as many sites as I can find to cross reference and verify information, I am currently living in Spain so If you find a Spanish ancestor I would like to do some research here in Spain too!

I'm not familiar with that family name. How are they connected to the Abril branch of the family? There are some Abril's that reside in the Tucson area and I am familiar with some of them but not with the Cuen or Finley. There is a cousin that married a Finley in my generation but that is the only connection that I know of at this time.

I am also ck'g the Finley Surname in Arizona found in the
Tucson Area..a Charles Finley-Enriqueta LaLao? her name is shown several ways..Children Ernestina born 1907, & William
Enrique Finley born 1905..lost track of them. How ever
Several years ago a Lady named Ernestina came to our family
Cuen gathering....veral info she noted her grandmother was
Mariana Cuen..As I also had an Aunt named Marian Cuen she felt there was a tie here..I told her there more then likly another Marian Cuen.....Can anyone share Finley surnames with me...please...& yes Ernestina is 102 years young. & I am in contact with her........cora.

I've read you posting to Mary Theresa Abril Finley and am also looking for info on the Abril family history. The story that you posted about the ranch in California I also heard a little about it from my dad,Steven Abril. I didn't get as much information from him as i've gotten from you. My maiden name is Abril and I believe that we are cousins through our fathers. Your dad was Manuel R. Abril and my dad was Steven (Estaban)R. Abril. My name is Gloria Escalante, my maiden name is Abril. My grandfather was named Guillermo Abril and was a son to Abram and Margarita Abril. My father was Guillermo's son. His name was Steven R. Abril and he was married to Jessie A. Aleman. For some years the Abril family has had an Abril family reunion at which I've had occasion to meet many Abril family members which I never knew were related to me. I too am looking for relatives of a man named Asencio, not sure of his place of residence, I believe it was in Mayaguez, but he may have lived in Bayamon. Would you know of a Francisco Asencio...he had 1 son fron a woman named Ana Luisa, his name is Damaso born in 1944

You might want to try Hawaii.
Abril's, have been living on Hawaii
since 1850. The Abril Family is a big family but with a name
that start with AB it's not hard to find Abril's.
I know of a Fransico Abril that had batistemal at the little church of los Angeles.
I have his batistemal papers.
