Looking for information about the Acey's in general but specifically Professor of Music John Acey. He married Elizabeth Hay 14 Sep 1845 in the Parish of Sculcoates and his father was listed as Thomas, a Grocer. The 1861 census lists his place of birth as Reedness Lincs, a stones throw from the Kirk Ella, Swanland, Welton area crossed via the Humber. 1845 living at York Street, 1861 43 Saville Street Sculcoates and 1881 George Street Sculcoates. Died qtr 2 1889 aged 68. 1845 to his death listed as a Professor of Music. Any research tips welcome, email me via
