Connections to Dean Acheson

My family has a connection to Dean Acheson. We believe that he is a cousin of either my great grandfather or my great great grandfather, as my grandfather and great grandfather have a striking resembalence to Dean. My great grandfather was Herbert James Acheson, born 1886 in Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. He moved to Glasgow, Scotland when he was 5 years old. He died in Glasgow in 1973. His father was Robert Acheson born 1847 in Ireland, he was a butler and egg merchant. He died in Leith near Edinburgh, Scotland in 1908. Herbert's mother was Jane (Kirkpatrick) Acheson born sometime around 1851 and died in Glasgow in 1900. In total they had 10 children, Margaret Acheson (Vancouver); Eleanor May Bassett (Vancouver); Lillie (Elizabeth) Anderson (Dublin); Caroline Forrester (Edinburgh); Herbert Acheson (Glasgow) and my great-grandfather; Alfred Acheson (California); Alexander Acheson (Canada); George Acheson (Calgary); Harold Acheson (Glasgow) and Robert Acheson (Portsmouth, England). They all had many children, would be my grandfathers' cousins. They all live in Scotland, England, Canada and the US.
Roberts' parents were Alexander Acheson and Mary (Cox) Acheson, born around 1810. After Jane died, Robert took a second wife, her name was Elizabeth Bodin or Murdoch in Leith. Janes' parents were John Kirkpatrick and Cescilla (Hynes) Kirkpatrick
