Have you looked at the book " The Achilles family from New Hamphshire"? I do not know the author, but I looked at it at the Oregon Genealogical society office in Portland, Oregon several years ago. I copied a few pages from the book. It refers to the 1880 census of Multnomah county, Oregon. I would be happy to send you the pages that I copied, and send the letter that I mentioned from Walter Smith in Washington, D.C. I copied these pages because they mention Achilles in Oregon where I live. Judy
