I have a question about Hendrick Ackerman. I think all the trees I have seen for him give Canada as his death place - yet he's buried in The English Neighborhood Cemetery in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
Did he die while visiting one of his children that moved there? I found his wife Rebecca living with their daughter Rebecca Danielson in 1850; she is also buried in The English Neighborhood Cemetery.
