Trying to trace my grandfather's roots, John Ackrill born around Birmingham and married Alice Goodyer. My father was Arthur Ernest Ackrill was born in Wednesbury Staffs in 1904 and married my mother Catherine May Brown in Exeter Devon in 1928. Would be grateful for any one with any likely info on Ackrill or similar spelling from birmingham or stafford area who could be related. Having some difficulty in tracing them.
