Mooers Forks — Rose Marie Acors, 57, died on Friday, April 21, 2000, at her residence.

She was born in Mooers Forks on June 30, 1942, the daughter of Rudolph and Ruth (Gokey) Miller.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; her mother, Ruth Miller of Mooers Forks; three sons, Richard Acors of Mooers Forks, David Acors of Plattsburgh and Donald Acors of Plattsburgh; three brothers, Philip Miller of Mooers Forks, Rudolph Miller Jr. of Mooers Forks and Joseph Miller of Mooers Forks; four grandchildren, Danny, Nathan, Savanna and David; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Mooers Forks. Burial will be in the Whispering Maples Memorial Garden in Ellenburg Depot.

Memorial donations in her memory can be made to the Mooers Rescue Squad.
