I too have records of my Acton branch in Canada. My grandfather, Richard Edward Acton settled in New Brunswick around 1912 and then moved to Ontario. Two brothers of his brothers, John Acton & William Percy Acton went farther west - Alberta and British Columbia. A younger brother, Martin Thomas Acton moved to the U.S. (Montana?) through Canada from Norfolk, England around 1900 but I've found no trace of him after that. Although my grandfather claimed to later generations he was from Ireland, his siblings' offspring say they were from Norfolk, UK. Records prove that as well. Genealogy without records is mythology!
