Dear Kathy,
I am trying to help a friend with her genealogy and your post on Rootsweb has interested me. She has a David Henry Holeman b. 15 Feb 1878, married to a Laura Acy b 1882. They had a son Draydon Holeman born 31 Jan 1911 married to a Sadie Dunn. I think there's a good possibility that even if you aren't direct line that you are likely cousins with a lot of the same names and in MS. Could you check your information and see if you have any of these people or know if anyone in your family does. I would greatly appreciate. Thank you very much.

The cemetery is well kept by the city and is open daily from about 8 until 5-6 in the p.m., when the gates are locked. This is all I have, the information came from readings on the old markers. We were attracted to look because they looked so old.

This appears to be who you are seeking.

m. sandel

New River mentioned above is also in Ascension Parish,La. Gonzales is the nearest larger town to New River.

My relatives originated "near" Hull England. The first ancestor to come to America was William Acy (Acey). He entered in Baltimore in the late 1700 or early 1800.
