I have been trying to find the origin of the last name Ada. My grandmother was Ethel Marie Ada.
She married and then became a McClure.

My father is (Gilbert Ada) the son of my grandfather(Fulgencio Diega Ada)I'm just curious about our family name that's why I'm here ^_^ hmmmm....By the way I'm The Cousin of Aubrey Ada. I Find Information about this website from him.....hmmmmmmmm.....

I am Aubrey Ada from Quezon City, Philippines. I'm a student from Polytechnic University of the Philippines taking up Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
My father (Alex M. Ada) once told me that we have relatives in Guam. According to him,when my grandfather(Fulgencio Diega Ada) was still alive,he told my father that he has a cousin who migrated to Guam sometime of 1930's or 1940's. My Great Grand Father's name is Severino Ada from Gamay Northern Samar Philippines.

Was your John Ada of Cape Vincent born 1868 or his son born 1897? Can give you some web pages for the families.

I have a friend who may be related to you. She has copies of music and poems written by Alice Ada dated 1933-1945. Also in the paperwork is listed Harry and a son who served in the war?

My friend has no living relatives either and is looking for answers regarding her family tree.

My father is Arnold Ada and his father is John Ada from Cape Vincent, NY. I don't know of any other relatives on grandfathers side..... But Ada is not a common name. We must be related somehow.
