Healther, I have a William ADAIR b. 1799 who married Susannah Davis ROOKER, d/o Rev. John Rooker & Anne Hawkins of York Dist. I am a descendant of James ADAIR b. June 8, 1790 who we 'think' (but so far have been unable to absolutely prove) was a brother to this William Adair. If you want more of this story, contact me. What I have on the Rooker family came from a Rooker researcher several years ago.
