There was a CHARLES ADARE in Guilford Co. N.C. living on Deep River. I ran across him while searching for Lawrence Bankston in Guilford County. Lawrence Bankston bought land in Guilford Co., N.C. in 1772 in Wolf Island Creek. He only stayed there a short time and moved on.

CHARLES ADEAR - His will was probated in Guilford in Feb. 1786.

Not sure if any records in Eden or Williamsburg in Guilford Co NC ? May have been Adear or Odair in Orange County, later Guilford County NC. Wonder if Orange Co was also referred to as being in VA ?
