I too am looking for survivors/family of Melchiorre & Orsola

Albert J. Adamo, 81, of Clairton,
passed away Monday, July 11, 2011,
in Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills. Born July 19, 1929, in Clairton, he was a son of the late Peter and Marie Adamo. A retired Tool Room attendant at U.S. Steel's Clairton Works, Albert was a Korean War veteran of the Army and a parishioner of St. Clare of Assisi Church in Clairton. He was also a member of the Sons of Columbus, Santa Maria Council No. 4, the Clairton American Legion, Daniel Keffer Post No. 75 and the former Century Club of St. Clare of Assisi Church. Albert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Isabella (Loggi) Adamo; his son, David (Amee) Adamo, of Pleasant Hills; his granddaughter, Alyssa Adamo; and also nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his siblings, Lena Staropoli, Amerigo Adamo and Margaret Massi. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, PA 15025 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Clare of Assisi Church. Procession and burial to follow to St. Clare Cemetery in Clairton.

INDIANA – A private service will be held in Indiana at a later date for William (Adams) Adamo, 71, who passed away at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, Indiana.

Bill was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) the son of Vito and Anna (Moscarelli) Adamo.

He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1957, and was also a Army veteran serving from 1958 to 1960 in the U.S. Army as a tank mechanic.
He retired in 1990 from Coastal Trucking, where he had been a truck driver and was a member of the Teamster’s Union Local 377, Youngstown, Ohio.
Bill was a founding member of the Road Knights Car Club in Youngstown.

He leaves two children, William (Ronda) Adamo of Garrett, Indiana and Julie Akerman of Rome City, Ind.;, three grandchildren, Jacob and Marisa Akerman and Sebastian Adamo; a stepson, Michael Boyer; one sister, Josephine (Martin) Teutsch of Austintown, Ohio; one brother, Patrick Adams of Boardman, Ohio; and two nephews, Ken and Keith Teutsch and their families.

There were no calling hours.

Local arrangements by the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.

Looking for information on my grandfather. He came to US from Italy. He was a tailor in Clarksburg, WV. His wife was Josephine Martino. He had at least one brother who was named Thomas, I believe. His name was originally Adamo. any info on parents would be very helpful. Thank you.

My great- grandmother came from austria and went through ellis island in 1897 and came to america around around 1897-1900's. when she got married she had the last name Adamo but her husband changed it when he came to America ... so now it Adams but "it is still really Adamo" i am trying to find out family history on the Adamos :) does this sound familiar to you her name is mary adams {adamo} born circa (1881/1982) she was 101 0r 102 when she passed away

Hey my name is Cody I'm 21 and live in Georgia I was on this web site because I dont know anyone in my family on the Adamo side I know my grandmothers name is Rose Adamo and I dont know my grandfathers name just that they are from New Orleans I have never met them. My mom ( Gina Adamo/Evans) lives in michigan with my older sister Heather Adamo whos dad is from chicago. I have two aunts Vicky and Dede and a uncle Sergio. These are the only people from this side of the family I have ever met... If you find out anything please let me know, there has to be more than just these few im related to

Yes my grand father was camillo centonze born in january 1893 in castelvetrano.His mother was Francesca. His father died on a horse, his name was lintini, he had a big domaine.My grand father move to Algeria when he was around 25 years old.My mother yolande and my uncle alfred leave in France .
Please answer me and I will try to give you more details of my family.

MY GRAND FATHER WAS CAMILLE CENTONZE BORN A CASTELVETRANO JANUARY 25 1893. HIS MOMTHER WASFRANCESCA CENTONZE.BUT HE LEAVES UNDER THE NAME OF GIANBIOTTI.

am searching for all descendants of the above who are connected through Lucia Lacovara of Cirigliano, Basilicata, Italy.

Lucia and Vito Onorato had a child together in Italy. Lucia came to NYC with the child Angelina. Vito had a son named Angelo who later came to NYC and met his half sister.

Lucia had 3 children with Antonio Adamo.....Michael, Mary and Joseph.

With Nicolo Cardinale Lucia had two daughter, Frances and Sarah.
