Hi there, I have just begun researching my father's family. His mother was Helen addie, born 1921, but as she moved to northumberland to have her children, none of them met any of our relatives in scotland, and she never said much about them. Robert is a family name that has stuck, and there are alot of robert Addies in my tree. My grandmother's family grave has an Isabella Addie buried in there in 1917, but none of us knew who she was.
Perhaps we could help eachother out if it's the same family. They all seem to be from around stirling, cowie, bannockburn.
