I've been looking for information on the parents of this John Addis. I've seen in many family tree's that his parents are listed as William Addis son of William Addis and Ann Owenstead. But I've yet to find anyone who has some kind of record for this. I have been in contact with a woman who has done a lot of research on this Addis family and she thinks that his father was Richard Addis and Elizabeth __. They had sons John and Thomas. I was hoping you might have some record or know where you learned that his father was William and not Richard. Any information would be helpful.
