ADICKS, George and Mary??

I posted this query about 3 years ago. Thought I'd try again..

Since Adicks seems to be a fairly uncommon name and I realize this isn't
a very active list I just thought I'd ask for some help. Possibly someone
on here might know this couple.

I was born in July 1960 in Homestead FL. Adopted straight away. My parents (adopted ones) have a final decree of my adoption with my bio parents names.. I wouldn't think it a dummied up piece. They are George and Mary Adicks. My parents only know tidbits about them. They think that they lived only a short time in south Florida, in Homestead-just south of Miami, back
in the late 1950's early 1960's. They think there may have been other children but as to how many they weren't sure. Think I was given up because they couldn't care for any more.
Not sure it was a happy marriage if a true marriage at all.

I'm just on a regular genealogy mission.. gathering names.. I'd like to know about any medical conditions if possible, the usual stuff like cancer, diabetes, etc.

Just curious as to the family names that came together..

If there might be siblings out there.. sure I'd like to know about you--strictly confidential.. I may be the "secret".. I'd been told numerous times while still in FL that I had a twin.. probably not quite the truth but maybe I favor someone..

Seems there are several branches of the Adicks in SC..

Can anyone help me? Anyone new to the list that this info might trigger a memory??

Thanks for taking the time to read this..

Sandy

So,
if you know of this family and can help me, or would like to pass this
query on to someone who might, I'm grateful.

Sandy Hamilton
Adix Family Branches in America

I am researching all the Adix family branches in America. I have discoved four branches of the Adix family who imigrated to America from Germany at various times in the 19th century. At this time, I am classifing the branches as the: Boone County, IA branch, Bremer County, IA branch, Chicago Branch, and the Louisana Branch (smallest). If you know of others, let me know. If you want to learn more about your branch or to know what branch you have descended from, let me know. I have lots of information and it's growing each month. I am also collecting information on our common ancestors from Germany.

Matt Carman
email: mattcarman@aol.com
P.O.
