My family name is Adshead. We have been wondering where our name originated from. We have also wondered how many of us are out there. My husbands nephew is currently doing a Jones family tree. He looked up the name of Adshead. He found there were several by that name in Australia too. My great grandfather came to the United States from England when he was 14. He was a ceramic tile apprentiss. He returned to England and came back two years later and settled in Patterson, New Jersey. His name was George Adshead. I have always been intrested in where his family may have originated from.
