Does anyone know anything about the ancestors and desendants of John Adshead b. circa 1775 and married to Susannah Hall on the 20th September 1798 in the area of Macclesfield, Cheshire, England ? In 1841 John was recorded as being a publican. John's son William was Mayor of Macclesfield in 1852. John's son George married Ann Potts and their first son was Mayor of Macclesfield in 1912. Samuel Adshead was one of the founders of Lonsdale & Adshead Brewery in Macclesfield. I understand there was 4 members of the family who moved to Canada.
