Have hit a brick wall - I have a James Agnew and Catherine both born late 1850's -1860 in Ireland .They left Ireland with five children Henry 1881, Mary 1883, Ellen 1884, James 1886, Annie 1889, emigrating to Scotland. Settling in the Glasgow area they then had Catherine 1890, Catherine 1896 & Henry 1900.
Henry 1900 is my Grandfather he married Janet Lang and moved to Australia with eight of his children
If anyone could help I would love to here from you I do not know Catherine maiden name or what area they originated from
I am also trying to find info on Janet Lang's maternal side her Grandfather was William Coyle born 1821 Ireland and also emigrated to Scotland and married Margaret Meiklejohn
