I am also doing research for my grandfather. His name in Samoa as my mother knew it was Ah-Chew or Ah-Kew. He left Samoa at about 1939 or 1940 when my mom was about 9 or 10 years old. She was born in 1930 and her father was a farm worker at the Mumu Arps farm at Alafua. We don't know where in China did he come from or return too.
