John Ahearn had a son John Ahearn who married Sarah Gleeson (dates on these not found). They had children John Jerome (b 1916) David J. (b1917) and Florence (unknown) Ahearn. John Jerome married Marie Upton and had 10 children John, Mike, Danny, Patricia, Thomas, AnneMarie, Brian, Kevin, Eileen, Cathleen through the late 1940's into the early 1950's. Marie is the birth mother of John, Mike, Patricia, AnneMarie. Marie's sister Frances (b 1924) is the birth mother of the others. Marie's parents are Irving Upton (d. 1967) and Anna Dierks. They had three children Marie, Fraces, and Juliette. Anna Dierks had a brother, John Dierks. He married Elizabeth Ambrose and they had a daughter Vincenizia, who is still alive, and is my mother's godmother. Vincenizia's brother is Chester Ambrose. I am told the family bible shows the Ahearns going from Cork, IRE to Boston, Mass, and then to NYC when one of the Ahearns had a baby who died (perhaps a bad flu epidemic in Boston at the time?) We settled in Brooklyn, Ave I, Flatbush area of New York City.
