Searching for Ahler family. There were three daughters: Irene, Alison (Alice) and Nora. Nora was born about 1938, her sisters were older. Father's name may have been John. He worked for a coal company named Dippel and Dippel in the 1940s and 50s. He worked on a job at Coaldale, Mercer County, WV 1948-51 and lived at Coaldale during that time. Dippel and Dippel were out of Morgantown, WV. I do not know where this family came from or where they went after leaving Coaldale. THANK YOU

Jacob (Es??rable) Ahler b. abt.1863 of Franklin Co. KY -

I'm looking for the family of Eward P. Ahler b.1906 and lived/died in Hardin Co., KY. The 1910 KY Miracode Census shows "Es??rable" Ahler with no wife in Franklin Co., Frankfort, KY as the father of Edward, and the family is from that area.

Es??rable is 47 years old in 1910 with children, Jacob, 19, Butler, 17, Isabel, 15, Catherine, 9, Richard, 7, and Edward. 4 years old. This matches Edward's birth date from the SSDI.

Some records indicate that Jacob Ahler married Isabelle Lynch and had this family. 1st daughter is named Isabel, and 1st son is named Jacob. but there is no wife given in 1910 and that's the only census that I have access where they would appear. How could they mess up so badly with the name Eserable?

Can anyone confirm or add to this?
- Jeffrey Buchanan
