I am not a family connection but I did however live at 18 dark lane for some 20 years my parents moved in in the 1950
the property was bought as condemmed and sold for £250 at the time
there was a small farm holding at the end of the houses not a pub and was owned owned by mrs liza Callum
the pub they refer to was at the endd of the road and called the cock Tavern
