I need desparate help here. I cannot find my grandfathers surname listed anywhere which has lead me to believe that it may at one time been Ainscough. He was born on Dec 18, 1906 in (I believe) the Philadelphia, PA area. My father remembers the name Manchester, England associated with the family. My grandfather married Edna Dunfee and they had children in the Conshohocken, PA area; one of them my mother Edith who died young. Two of the other children, boys, have the fathers name. Richard Alfred & Alfred Richard.

I am still waiting on a death certificate (He died in Wichata Kansas) so I can narrow the birth certificate area; meanwhile, I was wondering if anyone had anything that may lead me in the right direction.
