Aird's North America

Just to say that the Aird's are alive as well in Scotland.
My family originally come from the Ayrshire area as I believe most Aird's around the world do.
There is an area known as Aird's Moss in the County.
Many Aird's started to migrate towards Glasgow in the 19th Century as my family did and from there on to North America. I know I have relatives in Detroit but unfortunately we've lost touch.
However we still have contacts with the Aird's in Canada.
If any North American Aird's are searching for their roots I would suggest Ayrshire as the place to start
