Thankyou.. who is your cousin ..There are n't many Goodays left .. it is an old English name .. possibly from anglo saxon (Gooday= enclosure for holding sheep etc.)I do not know if name originated in Essex or elsewhere but Elizabethan england throws up one or two .. its far from common.I am interested in your research although I only have the one in one of my direct lines.. would like to know more about siblings aunts uncles to place family in contextGoodey is more common but not sure if connected corruption..
