I'm looking for information about the AISH family of St. John's, Shaftesbury, Dorset, ENGLAND.

Frederick George AISH m. Emily Anne BENNETT b. Ringwood, Hampshire on 29 April 1875 in Romsey.

In the 1881 British Census Frederick was a farm bailiff living at Dairy House, Nursling, Hampshire.

Emily Anne BENNETT's father was John Wiltshire BENNETT and her grandfather was John Light BENNETT, lawyer and gentleman, of Hartgrove.

Frederick and Emily had three children (maybe more) Isabelle b. 1878, Ethel M. b. 1880 and and Frederick George b. 1885 (who appears to have fought in the Boer War, and survived as he married Mary Ethel COGAN in the New Forest, Hampshire in 1909.)

Frederick George AISH (Snr) had a sister, Emmeline AISH m. Alfred George TROWBRIDGE in Romsey 1872. George AISH was their father.

BENNETT, AISH and TROWBRIDGE were well-known Shaftesbury familes.
