      <description>I am looking for the Robert Aland who was stationed in Viet Nam 1970 to about 1975.  My friend has a daughter-in-law of course married to her son.  She was born in Viet Nam about 1970 and would love to find her father.  She lives in Iowa and has two little boys.  She just would love to meet him.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <description>Aland, Charles, Frankfort, was born in London, England, in November, 1855.  He was one of three children of Henry and Martha Martin Aland.  He was educated at Helperton Academy, Wiltshire.  He married Annie E. Weaver, of London, and in 1880 came to the United States, locating at Rome, N.Y.  Mr. Aland took charge of an irion foundry, where he remained for five years, when he came to  Frankfort, and was placed in charge of the brass and iron foundry of the West Shore Railroad shops, where he has since remained.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;History of Herkimer County, New York : illustrated with portraits of many of its citizens&lt;br&gt;edited by George A.       <description>May 25, 1909-Feb. 28, 2003&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Russell Nelson Aland, 93, of Chula Vista died Friday. He was born in Driggs, Idaho, and was an owner of Teton Hardware &amp;amp; Implement Co. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.  Survivors include his wife, Ileen; daughters, Bonnie of Escondido and Lynda of Chula Vista; sons, Jim of El Cajon and Ken of Chula Vista; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.  Services: 11 a.m. tomorrow, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 790 Rancho Del Rey Parkway, Chula Vista.  Arrangements: Community Mortuary.  Published in the San Diego Union-Tribune on 3/6/2003.  (volunteer submission)</description>
