Hi Cecil,
Thank you so much for reconnecting with so many of us across the pond. My Great, Great Grandfather was David Albin, who married Mary Waugh. They immigrated through New Orleans and settled in MIssissippi. I am further descended down through Edward Roby. One of the identical twins. He survived the Civil War as a child. The oldest brother, Robert, convinced Edward to go up to St. Louis to become a physician.
As a side note, I am curious....Everyone of my family are avid trout anglers. Passed down from one generation to another. With such an exceptional trout stream passing through the County of Armaugh, I was wondering if it was started there.
None the less, thank you for your time in helping us remember the importance of our Albin heritage.
