MANSFIELD, OH: Leslie "Les" E. Albright, 76, passed away Saturday evening, December 31, 2011 at his home following an extended illness.
Born March 5, 1935 in Bellevue, Ohio, he was the son of the late Everett and Marie (Nemish) Albright.
He was a 1953 graduate of Bettsville High School.
He retired on January 1, 1997 from Mike Volk Co. where he worked as a welder and pipefitter.
Les was a member of Pipefitter's Local #42 and at one point was named the #1 welder in the state and #2 nationally. After his retirement, he became an accomplished woodworker. A proud dad of four daughters, he would never miss an athletic event of his daughters and was a very active member of the Ontario, Ohio Athletic Boosters.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Annette DeWeese Albright; four daughters, Venus (Terry) Breinich of Lexington, Ohio, Chanda (Karl) Lorentz of Bellville, OH, Dayna (Jim) Adamescu and Renee (Rob) John, all of Ontario; seven grandchildren, Lee Breinich of Shelby, Tera (Dustin) Ewing of Lexington, Christopher Guist of Canton, Emily and Sarah Adamescu of Ontario and Kayla and Kyle John of Ontario, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Everett and Adalyn Ewing.
Also brother, Bob (Bette) Albright of Perrysburg, Ohio; and sister-in-law, Georgeann Albright of Tiffin, OH.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Albright.
