Hi Alcock Family researchers
My Great Grandmother was an Alcock (Alice Augusta Alcock DOB 1863) and a nephew of hers Stanley Alcock published the "Alcock Family tree book" in 1948 at the time my G Grandmother was the oldest surviving Alcock. Stanley has only listed the direct line of Alcock and did not attempt to name the children of daughters of Alcocks. Some entries have wonderful descriptions. I would be happy to look up anyone's descendants in this book. Please email as much info as you have on your descendant. The first entry (of 123) is Laurence Alcocke (1630-1681) of Tillington. The (e) appears to have been dropped in the third generation.
Looking forward to finding fellow "Alcock" descendants. The family seems to be scattered across the globe from US to Australia. I think a copy of the book was given to everyone living who featured in the book??
