John died in the War of 1812, his wife Sarah receiving a pension beginning December 1814. She is the Sarah listed on the 1820 census, with 1 young female. In June of 1824 Thomas Alderton posted a bond for guardianship of Mary Alderton, infant daughter of Sarah Alderton. I believe this Sarah Alderton married Thomas's son William in Allegany County, MD in 1835.

Enos died after April 4, 1829 and before the census of 1830. His widow Mary "Polly" married Casper Yinger (Ginger) and his children were raised in Allegany County.
