JONES – Ethel R. (nee Aldrich) Jones, 72, of Buffalo, Saturday (Feb. 28, 1976) at Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in North Tonawanda, she had been a resident of the Tonawandas for 49 years and Buffalo for the past 23 years. Mrs. Jones was a member of Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church in Buffalo.
She is survived by her husband, Ferdinand M. Jones; two sons, Jay Lloyd Aldrich and Edward M. (Peggy) Jones of Buffalo; a nephew, James K. (Susan) Blackburn of Tonawanda and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Sts., Tonawanda where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Thomas F. Umholtz. Burial will be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
