John Miller Sands (distant relative) was s/o John Sands, 1845, (Rachel Oman). Rachel was the d/o John Oman, 1841, m. Margaret Ale). Margaret was the d/o Henry Ale, 2/22/1818, 1/21/1908,(Rachel Alexander, b. 9/8/12/1798, 3/2/1880, corrected by Bruce!) Henry ALe was the s/o John Ale, b. 5/23/1790, (ELizabeth (Hedley ?), b. 8/12/1798). John, Henry & wives are bur. in the Kitchen Cemetery, Mt Pleasant Twp., Columbia Co., PA.

Henry & Rachel's son, Robert Wilson Ale, d. 11/9/1876, aged 14/11/10.

Ruthanna Ale, d/o John & Elizabeth, m. William Ellis Sands, both bur. Kitchen Cemetery.

Catherine Ale, d/o John & Elizabeth, m. Benjamin Miller.

Jacob Ale, b. 1800, 7/27/1840,(brother of John?) and wife, Ann Ale, 1802, 9/6/1851, with Uriah, 1838, & Thomas, 1826, are bur. in a fenced area with the Kitchen families of Daniel, 1799, & Henry, 1801, in Ikelers' Cem., Greenwood Twp., Columbia Co., PA. Need more info? Sarah
