ALES, MINNIE LEE LAWLEY Minnie Lee LAWLEY Ales passed over on April 13, 2004 after her brave battle with cancer. She was born in Mississippi on December 9, 1920, and has been a resident of San Diego since 1949. She will be remembered for her loving disposition, independent nature, and her devotion to family and friends. She is survived by her four children Travis Smith of Oakdale Calif., Betty Dunnagan of Roslyn Wash., Louise Gore of San Francisco, Calif., and Lois Chase of Venice, Fla. She has six grandchildren Clyde, Charlie, Minnette, Dane, Charlo and Roxanne. Twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandsons. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 4 p.m., at First Lutheran Church 867 Lincoln Ave. El Cajon.
