Hello, I need help on a grandson of John A Dyal/Doyle and Christina Davis.
I'm trying to find information on Nicholas Edward Ailes who was born in July 1836 and is found in various spellings of his first name and of his last name in the 1870, 1880 and 1890 census.
Nicholas was born in Lewis Co., Ky to Thomas Aills and Ann Dyal. There were four children and the parents evidently died prior to 1850. Nicholas is found living with an uncle, Edward T. Doyle in 1850 in Indiana.
Nicholas and his wife Mary F were the parents of Eva Jane Ayles or Ales b 1856; Eliza A. Ayles or Ales b 1859; Thomas b 1863; Samuel b 1869 and Roy b 1877.
