I am researching my husband's family. His great-grandfather was Joseph Alexis (Aleksa or Alexsis). He was from Lithuania and was born in 1866. He married Anna Rupeika (Ruperkaite, Rupeikute) born 1877 in Suvalkai, Lithuania. They married in 1903 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, USA and had 6 or 7 children. Anna emigrated to the US in 1899. There is no record of any of her family that I can find. Joseph worked in a coal mine in the Pittston Area. He died in 1915. Anna died in 1970. Any information you may have would be appreciated.
