Hi Stephanie, About 2 years ago I came across a Helen Smith from Texas who seems to be a well known researcher of our Alexander family. She stated that Rev James Alexander and his wife Mary Maxwell are both buried in London, she has visited their graves, and they died childless. We seem to haved descended from William. Also, the famous 7 brothers have not pbeen absolutely proven to have been brothers. They may have been a mixture of brothers and cousins. I have been able to trace my branch to francis Alexander, born 1654 in Raphoe, Count donegal Ireland, and the family originated in Scotland, I am not matm home presently,nso all my papers are not with me.
