(My GGgrandfather) Jean Marie Alexandre was Married to Annette L'Official.Annettes' father was Henri L'Offecial who was married to Elizabeth (1770) Chego daughter of Paul Chego Mi'kmac. They are in my family.

Children of Jean marie were Henrietta Alexandre Born 1863. Jean Marie Junior born 1799, France died Jan. 18, 1886 Charlotte Alexandre 1800, Cape Breton N.S. Andre Alexander my Great G. I am looking for information on Charlotte Catherine Lejeune born abt. 1795 Bras D'Or, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Charlotte was the daughter of Fransway aka Francois LeJeune, son of Jean Christophe [Chrysostome] LeJeune and Louise Marguerite Hache-Gallant, and Marthe LeJeune, daughter of Joseph Charles LeJeune and Martine LeRoi/Roy. Jean Christophe [Chrysostome] LeJeune and Joseph Charles LeJeune were brothers, both sons of Germain LeJeune but they were born from different marriages. Joseph Charles LeJeune/Young born 1729 was born from Germain's first marriage to Marie-Anne Trahan on May 23, 1712. Jean Christophe [Chrysostome] LeJeune was born from Germain's second marriage to Marie Guedry abt. 1730. Charlotte Catherine Lejeune who married Denis Francois Marche was the mother of Bridgette Marche a sister of the Urbaine Marche you mention. Bridgette married Francois Jacquet aka. Frank Morel. On 14 June 1852 Francois Jacquet s/o Francois Jacquet and Francoise Borion from France married Bridgette Marche d/o Denis Marche and Charlotte LeJeune
By 1894, he is listed in McAlpine's as "Francis Morrell, Sr." and his son as "John Morrell". This surname is also used in the 1911 and 1921 census.
Vital statistics death records for the district of St. George’s state that on 10-Dec 1902 Port au Port cause of death Old Age, Francois Morrell Catholic age 78 born France buried Port au Port. At some point in history the Jacquet name was changed to Morel/Morrell. The daughter of Francois Jacguet/Morel Mary-Louise aka Louise Jacquet Morel who married William McKay on November 07, 1887 in Stephenville, Bay St. George, Nfld has birth record listing her surname as Jacquet but on her marriage record she uses the name Morel. Both records list her parents as Francois Jacquet & Bridgette Marche. There is a second marriage for Mary-Louise aka Louise Jacquet Morel in St. Stephen's Parish Records

I am looking for documentation of Charlotte Catherine Lejeune's birth and marriage, and records of her children's births and marriages. I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who might be tracing Charlotte's line as I am interested in completing a history of all her decendants.

The research I have done said Jean Marie was married to Annette L'official(native).I do not know the year of marriage.His son Andre Alexander was (b)1811 Lewis' Cove Cape Breton NS.(d)Nov 29/1866 Bay St George,s NL he married Sophie Lejeune (b)1810(d)13 Nov 1913 .His(Andre)daughter Celeste (b)1830 Bay St George,s NL married Urbaine Marche (b)1819 Little Bras d Or Cape Breton (d) 1857 Bay St. George's, s/o Denis Francois & Charlotte Catherine Lejeune.
This is where I'm lost no baptisim or marriage records for this couple.He Urbain was my gguncle.
Is there anyone out there that can provide me with any documents???

Elodie(Alexandre) and Louis LeBer(t) were my great- grandparents. They moved to Worcester,Ma.in approx. 1886.
Several years ago my aunt gave me the following names of their children Orise(sp?),Albina,Evelina, Cecelia, Hector and Lee(Levi)-all born in Canada: Olive and Wilfred-born in Worcester.
Through census records, church records and Ma. directories, I have been able to trace the family.
Elodie(1846/47) according to an 1851 Canadian census record is the daughter of Cyprien Alexandre and Marceline Lareau. Her brother and sistters were Cyprien, Marie, Joseph, and Abraham. More chldren may have been born later.

I have been searching for info on Desire's son Emmanuel Alexander(b. 1858) and Emmanuel's childen especially. I would love to see what you have on Emmanuel's children and grand children if you have it. My grandmother was Coosinie Alexander, dgt of Manuel Alexander(b. aprox. 1881-1883) from Stephenville Crossing.

I am looking for more info and a copy of the marr. cert. for Jean Marie Alexandre and Judith Marcadet. They were married in Quebec. Jean Marie is my ggg grandfather. I have a lot of info on his descendants especially from his son Desire who married Genevieve Jesseau to present.

You may have already found this info but here is what I have:

Jean Marie Alexandre Sr. born in St. Malo France 1771/1772 married Annette L'Officail (her birth somewhere in the 1770's) in Bay St George, Newfoundland...I found a marriage record for them in Quebec Canada on www.yourfolks.com but the date only shows before 1799. Annette was the daughter of Henri L'Official and Isabelle/Elizabeth Shegone/Chego (I have more info on this line) They had 7 children that I know of all; Henriette;Pierre 1798; Jean Marie Jr. 1799; Charlotte abt 1800; Andrew/Andre abt 1811; Desiree Peter abt 1820 and Celeste abt 1826; most were born in Lewis Cove, Cape Breton and died in Bay St. George, NL.

Jean Marie's parents were Jean Alexandre born about 1740 in France and came to Canada by way of New Jersey, US you can find record of him here: http://www.tonylesauteur.com/arbre66.htm

and Judith Marcadet born abt 1743 in NS.(daughter of Jean & Madeleine Benoit (I do have more info on this line).

Jean Marie's siblings were Jeanne 1779; Joseph 1780; Jean Josephine 1782; Sophie Perriine 1784; Marie Victoire 29 sep 1785; Jean Jacques Joseph 15 feb 1788; and a second Joseph 1789. The gap in time between Jean Marie and his sister Jeanne makes me believe there were other children but I haven't found them.

I do have more info on these families if you need it just let me know.

Em meados do século XIX um membro dessa família, de nome Joaquim José Alexandre, transferiu-se para Vila Nova de Gaia, onde casou e deixou descendência. Um de seus filhos foi meu avô Antonio José Alexandre (1869-1935), que veio para o Brasil em 1888 e casou em 1895, em São Paulo, com minha avó Maria Julia de França Andrade, deixando enorme descendência.
