Linnie Christine Alexis, 78, Clarksville, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Wise officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born August 25, 1928, in Limestone City, Alabama, to the late Andrew Johnson and Sarah (Davis) Johnson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded by her husband, Carl Lawrence Alexis Sr.
She formerly worked as a clerk at Joe Davenport Grocery and was a member of Greater Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Larry Alexis Jr. and Danny Alexis of Clarksville; daughter, Elaine Robinson of Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Alexis, Brian Alexis, Mike Rhodehamel, Scott Robinson, Eddie White and Andy White.
